Create a project and give it a name. By default your movies will be stored in the My Documents folder. If you wish you can change it to another directory.

Select your camera device. If you wish to import still images then click on the import button when starting your project.

Make adjustments to your webcamera settings using the device drivers interface supplied with your camera. Make sure to turn off autofocus and auto gain etc. It is important to set this manually.

 Turn off the Gain and Brightness control and use manual control instead.
