Once you have downloaded your copy of iKITMovie software you will notice it is in a compressed format. This compressed format is called a Winzip file. You will need to decompress / expand it using Winzip program. Vista can decompress these files without the need for additional software but if you have Windows XP you may have to download the Winzip program. There is a free version available on the Winzip website. Make sure you are installing the software on the PC that you are going to make your stop motion animation movies.

If you are running Windows Vista then it is very important to run the setup program as "Administrator"

Near the end of the installation you will be asked to send the machine ID of your computer to unlock email address at ikitmovie.

Once you have emailed this to unlock an email response will send you a unlock key.

 If you are using a webcamera then use some sticky tack to secure the webcamera. It is very important not to accidentally knock against the camera when taking your snapshots for you stop motion.

 Carefully enter the license information in to the registration dialogue.

Make sure you press the Full Version button before clicking Check Serial
