Now that all the hard work had delivered a stop motion animation / claymation movie the children were very keen to show off their results  to everyone. In this project they decided to create a YouTube channel called BCSchool and upload the claymation movie. They also decided to upload it to SchoolTube.

Some discussion ensued as to the best format for the various video channels e.g. MP4 versus WMV. While some were familiar with the terminology others had to listen intently to catch up.

iKITMovie allowed the students to export their claymation movie to a number of formats. Students tried the various formats and eventually agreed on MP4 format as it was the recommended format for YouTube and also as some of them wanted to upload it to their iPOD mp4 players to show off to their family and friends.

The excitement was palpable as the groups discussed the export format. The dialog below shows their video format of choice.
